Finally FRIDAY!!!

The school week has finally ended. I love my job, but I'm tired and so is Mollie. We are looking forward to eating Mexican food with friends and relaxing some. We do know that Grandma Tilda's funeral will be Monday afternoon. It will be a long day for everyone. I will be making a trip to Wal-Mart before we go. Mollie gets carsick and I won't leave home without some motion sickness medicine. The road, for those who don't know Hwy 412, has 2 lanes with lots of curves and hills. To complicate matters no I have to figure out what to wear and a hat that matches to cover up my bald spot!!! (Which seems to still be growing.) I know we will see tons of people that we haven't seen in years and who knows when we will see them again. Ron is still at work finishing up since he will be gone on Monday. I left a table full of sub plans for my kiddos!
As for this weekend I plan to SCRAPBOOK and Ron will be cheering for the Hogs. Addictions for both of us. Enjoy the weather this weekend!

I've join in too!

Well I have few friends (who know who they are) who have been trying to get me to blog so it here goes. Today was a typical long day in the world of Kindergarten. We are finishing up the quarter and trying to teach and do report card testing at the same time. I am always glad when its over! And thats never soon enough!!! Kindergarten includes Mollie Margaret these days and she loves it. She does have that teacher blood in her!
We got a phone call tonight that Ron's Grandma Tilda passed away this afternoon in Mountain View. We don't know any details yet, but we will be traveling for the funeral. She was 98 and was quite the lady in her day. Mollie has now lost both of her great grand mothers in about 8 weeks. To think she had 3 great-grandparents living 18 months ago and now they are all gone. Having said that they are all much happy and in a better place.
Now for me, the latest is that a large portion of my hair on top fell out this past weekend. I knew that I would lose some hair, but the word "spot" was used to describe it. That description falls a little short!!! The doctor and I will be chatting about his choice of words when I see him next time! I mean I am talking a 2x3 inch spot at least. So in the mean time I've gone blond. I thought blond was better than bald and with what little hair I have in the front you can't see my scalp as easily when I pull it back very carefully! So back to growing out my hair. I must give Sandy, my hairdresser, credit for lifting my spirits! She worked wonders on my hair and my spirits Monday night! She started about 7:30 and we both left the Salon about 11:00 Monday night. She worked miracles on me and I made it through a new drivers license picture and my class picture at school with a lot less hair.
Well that's the sum total of it. We are taking it one day at a time at our house and surviving life as it comes. We are working hard to enjoy each other and trying not to worry too much about the rest!
Good Night
